Conversion to digital operation can be done using the switched capacitor and successive approximation. Up to 8 connections to analog or voltage sensors in any combination can be made. This process allows all modular and fixed SLC 500 processors to access the data. The input module receives analog data and converts it to digital data which is then stored in the module’s image table.
